Blueberry Netting and Saskatoon Berry Netting

The pictures on the right show some blueberry netting installed at a local farm.

Width between posts is 10 feet.
Length between posts is 100 feet.
Netting is supported 9 feet high.

Available in 10ft and 20ft widths, 300ft lengths.

These photos show a farmer installing the netting. It slides along the cables installed between the posts. Nets are deployed and retracted in much the same manner.

A long pole is used to push the netting past the posts and along to the next section.

Strips of nylon are joined together using paperclips.

This basic system allows for a single person to install or retrieve netting for a small or medium-sized blueberry farm.
